Answer in brief

As of 3 November 2026, the GTA 6 price set by Rockstar is $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition, shown as 79,99 € and 99,99 € on European PlayStation Store pages. The game is listed only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November; a PC version is not announced.

Evidence cutoff: 13 sources
Rockstar’s US prices are $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition; French and Spanish PlayStation Store pages show 79,99 € and 99,99 €.
Rockstar says anyone who pre-orders or buys before 20 November 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders include one month of GTA+.
Pre-load opens on 12 November and the physical edition holds only a download code; store pages list the release time in UTC, so European pages show 18 November.

The GTA 6 price on official store pages: $79.99 and $99.99

The gta 6 price in the United States is $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Rockstar Games set both figures in its pre-order announcement of 24 June 2026, which Take-Two Interactive republished on its investor relations site. The US PlayStation Store listing shows the same two prices, and the Xbox listing shows $79.99+ and $99.99+. This story is dated 3 November 2026, sixteen days before the launch date of 19 November.

Prices outside the dollar zone come from the stores, because Rockstar’s announcement is written in dollars. The French and Spanish PlayStation Store pages show 79,99 € for Standard and 99,99 € for Ultimate. Prices for other countries were not checked for this story, so a reader elsewhere should open the store page for their own region. A store can revise a listing at any time, and nothing in the sources read here changes these figures as of today.

What the Standard and Ultimate editions contain

Both editions include the game and the Vintage Vice City Pack, a set of pre-order bonuses. Rockstar’s announcement says everyone who pre-orders or buys before 20 November 2026 receives the pack, and that digital pre-orders also receive one month of GTA+. The Ultimate Edition adds exclusive premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and story content. The PlayStation listing names two places among the extras, Rideout Customs and Electric Fang Tattoo.

The Ultimate Edition Upgrade is also sold separately as an add-on. The Xbox listing shows it at $20.00, which matches the $20 gap between the two editions. The PlayStation listing shows the add-on too, marks its pre-orders as unavailable and states that it is not covered by the GTA+ offer. Anyone who plans to start with the Standard Edition and add the extras later should read the add-on terms in their own store first.

Digital, boxed and Rockstar Store copies: what the box holds

Rockstar says the game will be sold at the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store and global retailers and storefronts. The physical version contains no disc. According to the announcement, the box holds a download code, and the Rockstar Store page repeats that physical copies carry only a code to support the pre-load on 12 November. A boxed copy therefore differs from a digital one in how it is bought, not in how it is played.

When the money leaves your account depends on the seller. The French PlayStation Store page labels the pre-order as requiring immediate payment. The Rockstar Store page read for this story does not say when it charges, and it can show a notice that the physical edition is not available in your region. Payment terms, refunds and availability are set by each store, so the terms on the page you buy from are the ones that apply.

Two bonus deadlines appear in the sources, one day apart. Rockstar’s announcement gives 20 November 2026 as the date before which a pre-order or purchase earns the Vintage Vice City Pack. The PlayStation listing says the GTA+ month needs a pre-order or purchase by 19 November, must be claimed by 31 March 2027, is limited to one redemption per account and renews monthly at the regular price until cancelled. The Xbox listing asks for the GTA+ month to be redeemed within 180 days. The earlier date is the safe one to plan around.

Release day, the 12 November pre-load and the time zone on the listings

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto VI page says the game is coming on 19 November 2026 and that pre-orders are open. The announcement says digital pre-orders can pre-load from 12 November, and the PlayStation listing describes a seven-day pre-load. The listings show the release as a UTC time. The US PlayStation Store lists 19 November at 05:00 UTC, which by simple arithmetic is midnight Eastern Time. The French and Spanish pages list 18 November at 23:00 UTC, which is midnight on 19 November in Paris and Madrid.

A reader in Europe who sees 18 November on a listing is therefore looking at UTC, not at an earlier launch day. Rockstar’s announcement states no download size. A reader short of storage should look for the size on the store page of their own console before the pre-load opens, instead of relying on figures from unofficial trackers.

Console requirements: PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X|S

Rockstar’s page and the June announcement name two platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No page read for this story lists PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The PlayStation listing marks the game as PS5 Pro Enhanced and describes it as single-player only, with offline play, Remote Play and DualSense vibration and trigger effects. The Xbox listing calls it optimized for Xbox Series X|S and mentions achievements, cloud saves and thirteen supported languages.

Both listings flag purchases inside the game: the PlayStation page says optional in-game purchases, the Xbox page says in-app purchases. Ratings differ by date. Rockstar’s June announcement said the game was not yet rated, while the store listings now show ESRB Mature 17+, with blood and gore, intense violence and strong language among the descriptors. Ratings in other regions were not checked for this story.

PC: no announcement, one anonymous-source report and the GTA V precedent

Rockstar has not announced a PC version. Its Grand Theft Auto VI page names PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the same two consoles appear in the June announcement and in Take-Two’s quarterly lineup table. So there is no official PC release date, no PC edition and no PC price. Any figure quoted for a PC copy does not come from Rockstar.

On 13 October 2026 GamesBeat reported that Rockstar was targeting the first quarter of 2027 for a PC version, citing four industry sources it did not name. Thurrott summarised the report the next day and noted that it carried no statement from Rockstar. That makes it a report, not an announcement, and a target that the studio could move. An earlier anonymous claim shows why caution is fair. A post dated 20 May 2026, covered by NME, said the game would slip to February 2027 with a PC version in May 2027, and that the delay would be announced on 21 May. Take-Two’s chief executive Strauss Zelnick said on that call that the game was still coming on 19 November.

Rockstar’s own history is the only precedent in the sources. Wikipedia’s article on Grand Theft Auto V gives 17 September 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and 14 April 2015 for Windows, a gap of about nineteen months, and says the PC version had first been planned to launch alongside the consoles. Zelnick has avoided a commitment. In a 2024 investor webcast he said Rockstar would make more announcements in due time, as MP1st reported, and in February 2025 he told IGN that the company does not always go to every platform at once, as Dexerto reported. A precedent is not a forecast, and this story does not predict a date.

Take-Two’s latest results and what the delay rumours rest on

Take-Two’s latest completed results are those for the first quarter of its 2027 fiscal year, published on 7 August 2026. According to the filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the company repeated its expectation of $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion in net bookings for the fiscal year, and Zelnick spoke of excitement around the 19 November launch. The lineup table in the filing lists Grand Theft Auto VI on that date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The filing does not break out the game’s contribution and does not mention pre-orders, so it gives no sales figure to quote.

A delay would have to come from Rockstar or Take-Two. As of 3 November, Rockstar’s page still reads Coming November 19, 2026, and none of the pages read for this story announces a change. On 21 May 2026 GamesBeat reported that Take-Two said the game was on track for that date. A rumour that names a month and a venue can be tested, and the May claim failed that test. A rumour with no source and no date cannot be tested, and deserves the same caution as any unconfirmed claim.

Dates to watch before 19 November and what to check before paying

Take-Two’s investor relations page says the company will report second quarter fiscal 2027 results on Monday 9 November 2026. The pre-load opens on 12 November, the game launches on 19 November, and the Vintage Vice City Pack window closes before 20 November. The GTA+ month can be claimed until 31 March 2027 on PlayStation. Any statement about a PC version should come from Rockstar or Take-Two, and until one appears the earlier reports stay reports.

Before paying, open the store page for your console and your country, check the gta 6 price there and read the edition, the currency, the moment the charge is taken and both bonus deadlines. Check free storage against the size the store shows. This story does not recommend buying now or waiting; a budget, a refund right or a regional rating is a personal question for the reader and the store’s own terms.

Practical checklist

  • Open the store page for your console and country and read the price, edition and currency in full.
  • Compare the deadlines for the Vintage Vice City Pack and the GTA+ month before you pre-order.
  • Clear storage on your console before the pre-load opens on 12 November.
  • Find out whether your store takes payment at pre-order or when the box ships.
  • Treat any PC date or PC price as unannounced until Rockstar or Take-Two publishes it.
